Digital Copier Can Be Upgraded to Include Printing and Scanning
West Caldwell, NJ, June 03, 2004 — Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today introduced the Ricoh Aficio® 240W, a low-volume, wide format digital copier. The versatile Aficio 240W can be upgraded to include printing and scanning features by adding an RW-240 Printer Controller.
Architects and engineers often use floor plans, renderings, schematics and blueprints to assist them in their projects. The Aficio 240W provides rich functionality to fulfill these wide format imaging needs. It is the ideal solution for any business that copies or prints documents larger than 11” x 17”, making large document handling simple. By adding the RW-240 Printer Controller, the Aficio 240W becomes a complete wide format digital solution allowing for printing and scanning.

The Aficio 240W makes large document handling and workflow easier. It has an easy-to-use control panel putting all its features, such as reduction/enlargement, sorting, stamping and imaging editing, at the user’s fingertips.
The Aficio 240W is available now starting at a suggested retail price of $10,000 as a stand alone copier and up to $21,000 for complete copying, printing and scanning capabilities.
