Ricoh Canada BW-to-CLR MFP Promo (maybe US)?

Hey Gang,

I recently heard a rumor that Ricoh Canada is aggressively targeting its own BW MIF for replacement with its own CLR A3 MFPs, reportedly offering CLR models for the price of BW.

Although this is just a rumor, Ricoh's 45-69ppm A3 CLR MFP sales have really spiked in Canada, so this promo/initiative could explain the increase.

Has anyone seen proof of this in Canada or the US or have any other ideas why Ricoh Canada is doing so well in this segment?
