Ricoh 2232C and Mac OS 10.3 Operatins System

I have a customer with a Ricoh 2232C and uses Mac OS 10.3 Operatins System. They can print fine from most applications but when printing from Quark Express 6.5 or Photoshop 7.0 or CS, it prints out dozens of pages of junk. Does anyone have a solution or experienced a similar problem. Ricoh does not seem to know.

Are you using the OS X print driver?
Could be a appl software issue.

I forget if macs have an option for postcript compaitbility settings, pc's have choices between speed and portability, I usually choose portability. Are they errors like stack overflow etc. I think adobe has good troubleshooting info on their web site.

Switching of network speed to 10Mb could help, I gas.

Define Junk please. Text? Weird Characters? Corrupted graphic data?

Even better if you can show us =).

My first thought would be a PDL selection problem. I don't think the 2232 has an option for setting one of the PDLs as a default though =\

Have you tried setting up printing from the Mac via IP Address / LPR instead of Appletalk?
