Remote Fax

With this feature you can have 1 machine connected to a fax line and the network with the Fax Connection Unit and up to 5 additional machines on the same network with Fax Connection Units and send and receive with any and all machines. Can anyone tell me if they have done this how the sender on the outside differentiates which machine they are sending to?
