Rackspace changes name in preparation for public markets

Rackspace is now Rackspace Technology, the company announced Monday morning.

The name change is meant to reflect the end-to-end technology solutions the company will now be providing, which includes cloud optimization, security, cloud native enablement and data modernization, according to a news release.

Several acquisitions and strategic partnerships have lead up to the change, according to the release. The most-recent acquisition was of Onica, a Santa Monica, California-based Amazon Web Services consultant and managed services provider, in November 2019. read the rest here
