Printing HPGL2 files out of Unix

We are trying to install a 480W with PB 3.6 and are having problems with HPGL2 files. When these files are printed out of Unix, they are being converted to .tmp files and will not print. Does anyone know what we can share with the customer to help them create a Unix print queue that will not convert the files?

Also, when we take the .tmp files and rename them as HPGL2 files, we are not able to print them on PB 3.6 but we can do so with PB 3.5 in our demo room. Does anyone know if there is a glitch with PB 3.6 and HPGL2 files?
