I have a customer who has a Savin C9120 and a Savin MPC2003. They just got a new Mac and in order to get full print functionality they would need to purchase PostScript options for both. This would probably be about $700. Does anyone have documentation on why Mac requires PostScript? I know I can come up with some work-arounds but PostScript is really the way to go.

It's my understanding is that postscript is their print language that they developed

It's not that you need PostScript for a Mac, it's that PCL doesn't work with a Mac. Canon's UFR II drivers work with Macs.
