Photizo Group Expands Team with Former Printing Industry Senior Exec and Award-winning Sales Professional

Lexington, KY – November 1, 2010 – Photizo Group announces that printing industry veteran Greg Survant has been named to the Photizo Group Board of Directors, while David Brown has joined the company as an Account Executive.
“With Greg Survant on our Board of Directors, and David Brown joining our sales team, Photizo Group gains two impressive professionals with significant knowledge and experience in their fields,” said Photizo Group Founder and CEO Ed Crowley.
New Board Member Spent Career in Printing Industry
Drawing on over 32 years of leadership and management experience at IBM and Lexmark International, Inc., Greg Survant brings a diverse understanding of the global print industry, including technology and new product development, manufacturing and the supply chain and how these aspects intersect broader business issues. Additionally, during his career, Survant oversaw a myriad of corporate functions, from facilities management to laboratory operations. As vice president of Lexmark's Business Products business area, he led a product line that garnered the most industry awards in the desktop laser printer industry for three consecutive years. His management experience spanned the globe and was central to the success of a multi-billion dollar business.

Survant has served on various other boards, including the Information Technology Industry Council, Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation, and the University of Kentucky External Advisory Board for Mechanical Engineering. He is also the co-founder and Board Chairman of Spiritual Leadership, Inc., a nationwide church leadership consulting and organizational development ministry.

Sales Professional Puts Focus on Consultative Relationships
As Account Executive, David Brown will be responsible for connecting clients with Photizo Group’s extensive suite of consulting and event services. He brings a strong background in strategic planning, online advertising, retail marketing and campaign development. Brown specializes in consultative, needs-based business relationships.
“My background in media sales and account planning will help me consolidate and extend Photizo's sales efforts with regard to conferences, sponsorships, media and consulting. I also plan to focus on building relationships within the dealer and end-user communities to better assess needs and connect them with our growing array of solutions,” said Brown.

His background includes online and retail account executive positions with the Lexington KY Herald-Leader newspaper. In 2009, Brown was recognized as both Advertising Division Salesperson of the Year and as Interactive Team Salesperson of the Year. As an Assistant Account Executive with Ketchum Directory Advertising, he helped grow revenue for a national retail account from $1.7M to $4.1M through strategic market planning.
