the 7300 outputs huge Quark,Illustrator files really well... the duplex once figured out is great!

Xerox really sticks it to you per consumables... BIG RIP-OFF

Great for very small runs.. one or two for proofing. DO NOT USE for any real volume...consumables will kill you!

The 7300 is an awesome printer in the regars of speed. It handles large professional graphic design files without even trying. print quality is great.
From there it goes down hill. The support out of the box is weak. At first it looks like they really walk you thru it but then you realize the 20 page "getting started" booklet actually is 4 pages in english (the rest in every language possible)with cryptic illustrations that tell you nothing. The "read me" first disk is just as lame. I have had the printer for three months and still have yet to understand its full abilites. I believe Xerox designed it so you have to print out the PDF so they can sell you more toner... Xerox tech support is really good. They have walked me thru solutions quickly.
The marketing of the 7300 is nothing short of a lie, they claim this machine is a solution for in-house printing and will save your company money. BE AWARE THAT ALL TONER RATINGS ARE BASED ON 5% COVERAGE... when does a brochure have 5% coverage... don't be fooled. I have less than 5,000 copies output and have gone thru more than $1,700 of toner and had to replace the imaging unit on the black and yellow already for an added $350.00. This printer will kill you with consumable costs and you will need a small warehouse for storage.
I love the quality of the printer but Xerox has proven to me they have little to no real intgrity when it comes to marketing and after the sale support.
Buyer beware or be wealthy if you plan to really use the printer for any volume of output.
