PDF solution not clear

Are you printing them out of Acrobat viewer?
If so which version.
There is good info here on PDF issues.
Try doing a search and look for the "known issues" word document

Acrobat 6.0....the files show up fine in the viewer. I thought 3.3 was suppose to have a fix in it for all these pdf issues! We will be networking the system next week, and I'll have Acrobat 5.x with me, and we'll try printing thru plotClioent as well.

Use Acrobat ver 5.0

There is no "fix" because theire is no error. Adobe built a 30 " limit into Reader 6.0. Work arounds include:

1. Adobe solution - purchase Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional

2. Open in Adobe 5.0 or lower - available at adobe.com

3. WITH PS option enabled, print through plotclient win

4. To print single files through Adobe Reader 6.0:

on the plotbase server, add a windows printer - start - printers and faxes - add a printer wizard

select local printer

select "use specific port"

scroll down and select RATIO PbPort

Select HP and any designjet 650

select keep exisiting driver

rename 240 PDF printer

Share out to network

5. get the the 300 dpi driver from Ricoh tech support

Acrobat 7.0 fixes this problem from what I've been able to test.
