Paragon Solutions Completes Large-Scale Cloud Content Migration to Veeva Vault eTMF

CRANFORD, N.J.

Paragon Solutions, an advisory consulting and systems integration firm specializing in enterprise information management, today announced the successful completion of a large scale content migration of over 10 million documents and 45 million objects for a top-five ranked global pharmaceutical client.

The initiative consolidated content from several legacy document management systems and migrated it to Veeva Vault eTMF to provide a single source of truth for all eTMF documentation, promote process efficiency and enable real-time inspection readiness. The success of the implementation, combined with Paragon’s reputation for being a leader in eTMF and clinical operations consulting, has contributed to another client’s selection of Paragon to migrate their eTMF content to Veeva Vault eTMF from a system that is no longer supported and does not provide the collaboration capabilities required in today's clinical environments. That engagement will involve moving eight million eTMF documents, equivalent to two terabytes of data, along with 28 million data objects from a legacy application to Veeva Vault eTMF and is scheduled for completion in September 2016.

Cloud Migration Engagements

Cloud migration engagements require Paragon’s Migration Center of Excellence team to conduct extensive analysis of the current environment as well as leverage the expertise of the company’s clinical operations specialists to develop a migration process that complies with the target environment while adhering to Paragon’s proven migration methodology.

Through a collaborative process with the client, Paragon conducts a pilot migration to make evident all aspects that will need to be considered when migrating to the cloud, and to identify the necessary enhancements required for a full-scale migration. When successfully completed, migrating content to the cloud will enable the organization to save on infrastructure and support costs, achieve broader collaboration capabilities, and enable access to the content on a global scale for all valid users.
