Panasonic Announces Incentive Program to Stimulate End-User Demand
SECAUCUS, NJ — Customers who replace a non-Panasonic multifunction peripheral (MFP) or copier with a qualifying WORKiOÔ digital imaging system or the DP-C106 color copier by April 30, 2003 will receive either a free 4 Mega Pixel Digital Camera or SD Audio/Visual Recorder. In addition to the DP-C106, the WORKiO models that qualify under the program are the DP-6010, DP-6000 and DP-7000. Customers may choose between the two promotional items, with a limit of two claims per name/location.
According to Paul Wharton, Panasonic's national marketing manager for the PPC/Fax/ MFP Product Group, the promotion is similar to the highly successful "push" program Panasonic conducted last summer. "Our summer incentive program was so successful that we decided to run a similar promotion during the second half of our fiscal year," Wharton said. He emphasized that the merchandise incentive program is just one of the many ways Panasonic supports its dealers.
"We pride ourselves on offering one of the most proactive technical support programs for dealers in the industry," he said. "And along with our dealer support programs, we constantly evaluate our end user promotions to ensure they help our dealers sell more products." WORKiO models qualifying for the current promotion offer a variety of capabilities, including copying, faxing and scanning.
DP-6010: multifunction document management system with LAN connectivity via the built-in 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet interface.
DP-7000 and DP-6000: heavy-duty multifunction peripherals that combine speed with productivity, reliability and durability to handle just about all the needs of a workgroup.
DP-C106: digital color imaging system that produces outstanding photo-quality copies, prints, comps and proofs for most color-intensive professional environments. Copies and prints at 6 cpm/ppm (color); 26 cpm/ppm (monochrome) in letter/ landscape mode, with a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi.
