Padmasri Digital Prints opts for its third KM C8000
Bengaluru-based Padmasri Digital Prints has opted for its third Konica Minolta C8000 digital printing press. The printing press was supplied by HCL Infosystems.
Ramamurthy of Padmasri, said, “Over a period of time, short-run printing demands accompanying more applications have led the printing firms to align themselves towards digital printing; and this has been one of the primary reasons that has led us to install three production printers within a timespan of merely three years.”
The digital print house, Padmasri Digital Prints, was started by Ramamurthy in the year 2008 who ventured into his printing journey in the mid-80s with a letterpress. Owning an entry-level production printer with a monthly volume of approximately 15,000 pages, Padmasri Digital Printers moved in to a complete digital setup in the year 2008 and got associated with Konica Minolta in the year 2009 by installing C6501.
”We are one of the leading printing solution providers in the city and provide services to more than 500 printers. As a result of such a growing demand, we wanted a printer which could provide us with bulk printing capacity and hence Konica Minolta became our first and last resort for expanding our printing base. The installation of three KM C8000 since 2011 has provided us with exceptional returns on investments primarily due to its fine quality print output, satisfactory after-sale-services and the capacity to continuously print 18,000 pages in 8-hours,” concluded Ramamurthy.
