Oct 17, 2011 MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., OKI Data Americas, which markets its products under the OKI brand, today announced that Kazuhiko Nagaoka has joined the company’s Executive Management Team as its Vice President of Engineering. In this role, Nagaoka is responsible for all areas of the Engineering Group, which includes the Color Support Team, Engineering Services, Product Integration and Evaluation Engineering, Test Engineering and Certification, Software Engineering and Software Support.
Nagaoka joined Oki Electric as an engineer in 1985, where he worked designing color and mono printers. He then spent nearly four years as a General Manager in the Strategic Planning Office with OKI Data Corporation and, in 2007, became Divisional General Manager of Engineering, designing color and monochrome printers.
"Mr. Nagaoka has demonstrated both leadership and expertise in engineering. He will utilize these skills in his new role, overseeing all aspects of OKI’s Engineering Group," said Takabumi Asahi, President and CEO of OKI Data Americas. Nagaoka holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Communication Engineering from Waseda University in Japan.
