MOUNT LAUREL, NJ, Jun 05, 2014 (Marketwired via COMTEX) -- As part of a recently-executed co-marketing agreement between OKI Data Corporation and DocuWare Corporation, OKI Data Americas announces development of DocuWareâ® Module Connect to OKIâ® which provides seamless connectivity between DocuWare content management solutions and OKI multifunction devices (MFPs) featuring the smart Extendable Platform. The integration of DocuWare's solutions with OKI smart MFPs allows paper documents to be digitized and stored quickly and easily, and to be made available immediately to authorized users.
DocuWare solutions enable companies to organize and manage the flow of information both internally and externally from any MFP anywhere within the organization. One-touch automated scan workflows ensure accuracy and consistency of document digitization, and improve business processes. In particular, DocuWare Module Connect to OKI: simplifies scan-and-capture tasks using OKI smart MFPs; facilitates document storage in a centralized location; personalizes scanning destinations and indexing options for ease of filing and retrieval; and eliminates the need for fax phone lines which reduces monthly long distance charges.
By integrating DocuWare with OKI smart MFPs, customers will optimize and simplify document processing and workflow. Furthermore, the flexible and open architecture of the smart Extendable Platform from OKI allows for the development and integration of other customized solutions to meet each organizations' specific business and document management needs.
"OKI Data Americas is pleased to offer DocuWare document management solutions to our customers in conjunction with our smart MFPs," said Carl Taylor, Vice President of Marketing for North America at OKI Data Americas. "The integration of DocuWare with OKI smart MFPs delivers real value by helping organizations save time and money, and addressing their document scanning, storage and sharing needs."
Taylor continued, "With the addition of DocuWare, OKI Data continues to expand the suite of solutions which are compatible with our smart MFPs to offer a complete range of options to meet our customers' current and emerging needs."
