MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., March 21, 2007 -- Oki Data Americas, which markets its products under the OKI® Printing Solutions brand, today announced the innovative A3 CX3641 and A4 CX2032 multifunction products (MFPs) at the Imaging Technology Education & Exposition (ITEX) Show in Las Vegas. The products deliver all-in-one functionality and High Definition (HD) Color in a single device, as well as exclusive software integration capabilities in the CX3641 MFP for maximum utilization of existing document management resources.
“The most exciting feature of the CX3641 MFP is the embedded SendMe functionality from EFI®, which has never before been available standard with an MFP,” said Mike Garofola, Senior Marketing Manager, Color MFP, Oki Data Americas. “Businesses that have already made significant IT investments will be able to utilize resources more efficiently to optimize their current document management systems. The CX3641 together with SendMe will create a one-step, integrated business workflow process, enabling users to scan, edit and route documents directly from the CX3641 MFP control panel.”
The CX3641 MFP is designed for enterprises requiring high-performance and high-quality, full-time color, offering print and copy speeds of up to 36 pages-per-minute (ppm) in color and 40 ppm in black-and-white.[i] The CX3641 MFP uses HD Color technology to yield a print resolution of 1200x1200 dpi, and outstanding scanning speed and copy resolutions. It is designed for large workgroups printing up to 150,000 pages per month, and includes standard scan-to-e-mail/network capability and a duplex single-pass document feeder that scans both sides of color pages simultaneously. The product will market at an estimated list price range of $17,000 - $20,000.
OKI Printing Solutions also introduced the CX2032 MFP for small-medium workgroups, delivering competitive print and copy speeds of up to 20 ppm color and 32 ppm mono1, brilliant 1200x600 dpi print quality enabled by HD Color technology, and robust media handling capabilities including 8.5” x 34.5” banner printing. The CX2032 MFP offers printing, copying, scanning and analog faxing capabilities, in an easy-to-use device that allows businesses to print, high-quality materials in-house while optimizing office space. The product will market at an estimated list price of $3,000.
The CX2032 MFP will be available in Summer 2007 and the CX3641 MFP will be available in Fall 2007 exclusively through OKI Printing Solutions authorized dealers in the US and Canada.
