I would focus on the two out put areas for the Ricoh 480W, the ease of paper installation (especially if a woman must replace the paper), the intuitive LCD display of the Ricoh.
Look at space, this could be the decided factor, if they have very little room, the Ricoh 480W is the best alternative.
