Profiting from Clear Communications in the Credit Card Industry
To comply with new federal legislation, credit card issuers must re-evaluate their business models and pricing strategies and develop new credit products. In this Compliance Track session, Océ’s Tom Lee and Elizabeth Gooding of Insight Forums help business communicators adapt to these changes and profit from clear communications. Attendees can join this class on Friday, March 19 at: 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM in the Citrus meeting room.

As Director of Customer Experience and Advocacy for Océ North America's Production Printing Systems division, Tom Lee is responsible for the world-class Océ Customer Experience Center in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, he has hosted, informed and engaged more than 1,000 Océ customers since the facility opened in 2004. Tom's passion for addressing customer requirements with state-of-the-art production printing solutions was first ignited when he began designing print engines in the mid-1980s. Since joining Océ in 1986, he has advanced steadily through the ranks of the organization, gaining hands-on expertise in a variety of capacities, from technical support to training to product management.

Elizabeth Gooding, President and CEO of Insight Forums, is known as a visionary innovator in relevant, personalized communications that drive positive business results. She conducts research on trends, technology and opportunities related to integrated, closed-loop transactional marketing. Committed to driving innovation in communications, she has expanded Insight Forums to create a business networking community for financial communications professionals and a forum for practical research and consulting. She is the former editor of E.bill Magazine and is a frequent speaker at industry events.

Digital Workflow: Everyday Key to Performance, Productivity and Profitability
No matter what the market, operation or applications, the underlying digital workflow keeps it all moving smoothly. To capture more productivity or add flexibility, workflow should be one of the first things to consider. In this session, Océ’s Buddy Mountcastle will help attendees learn from world-class workflow examples and explore the latest thinking and developments in the realm of production workflow. Participants will find out about the benefits of hybrid offset and digital printing workflow, along with techniques for choosing the right workflow software tools for the job and business. Mountcastle will also explore the surprising range of capabilities that can be accomplished and enhanced through digital workflow and show how companies benefit from interoperability and standards-based workflow. Part of the Production/Distribution Track, this session is scheduled for Friday, March 19 at: 2:30 PM - 3:20 PM in the Glades meeting room.

A.E. "Buddy" Mountcastle III, Software Marketing Manager, Océ North America, has over fifteen years experience working with software to drive digital workflow. His background includes positions on the end user side, as well as with providers of digital document technology. He has extensive, hands on experience with EDI, SAP, Oracle, network, mainframe and other systems that document professionals encounter every day. His professional experience includes software marketing, logistics, operations, print planner, and materials management.
