"The cm3521 meets the demands of any small to mid-sized workgroup, while bringing the powerful impact of color where it’s needed," said John Reilly, vice president, marketing at Océ North America’s Corporate Printing Division. "We continue to meet our customers’ growing demand for a productive and high quality MFP that produces high-quality images in monochrome and color. At Océ, we know that improving the productivity of our customers’ workgroups, whether large or small, is a critical component for them to gain a competitive edge in their marketplace."

Productivity
With scanning speeds of up to 65 opm for monochrome and 50 opm for full color, the cm3521 is an efficient "on ramp" for documents and can easily share information across the hall, across the country or across the world. The cm3521 is one of the fastest MFPs in the industry out of the gate with a warm up time of 72 seconds and a first copy out time of 6.5 seconds for monochrome, 8.5 seconds for color images. The new higher capacity black toner cartridge keeps productivity levels high with easy and less frequent replacement.

Output Quality
With fast high-resolution output, the cm3521 produces vivid and sharp images at true 8-bit color depth and 256 shades per pixel for smooth halftone and photo reproduction. The cm3521 features automatic image stabilization to insure that longer print runs maintain consistent high-quality imaging. To bring professional color results in house, the cm3521 can be equipped with the optional Fiery print controller from EFI. This combination creates a great fit for color output environments that have the need for color matching, queue management, color calibration and more control over the color generated. The advanced image controller features the industry’s most sophisticated color tools, including, True Adobe ® PostScript ® 3 support, Spot-On Color and Pantone Color Matching, Color Calibration and Queue Management for businesses specializing in graphic arts, marketing and advertising.

cm3521 Availability
The cm3521 is currently available and designed to support total productivity and fast, cost-effective color when needed. A variety of acquisition plans are available including sale, lease or rental.
