Any word on when the new A3 mono machines will be ready - with 9021 & 7025 gone now we have to go from Savin 920 all the way to 9228 - quite a big gap.

I've heard nothing and did'nt realize the 25 ppm was done. We just got updating pricing on the MP2500SPF, lower MSRP and Accessories, however that may be old.

Realistically the MP1600 and MP2000 series needs to be refreshed, I think these systems are almost 3 years old!!!!

Anyone hear anything else?

My mistake, I thought the 7025 had been replaced. With the new, lower pricing we don't need the 9021d. Hopefully the new products will be released soon since these are a little old and our service department was never a big fan of their fusing sections.

No need for apologies! I wish we were going t have a new 25ppm with color scan. I can see we are going to start gettinh hammered if we dont have a refresh of the 16, 20 and 25 ppm a3 devices.

The MP1600 was discontinued 2 weeks ago.

The MP1600/2000 series was launched in January 2007. Talk about being overdue for a refresh.

Is the MP 2000 discontinued too?

Any opinions on how these have sold historically and how they have fared in the last year or so as they become old?

Also, does it seem like they are being replaced or just discontinued?

I feel like there is not a huge market for ultra low-end A3 BW MFPs. I think only Kyocera has a walk-up A3 BW MFP below 20ppm.

Also, are these discontinued too?

I never did too much with the MP2000 or MP2500. I like the touch panel on the 2551 and up models much better. especially when scanning. The MP2500 was a good system to bid if customer required a finisher at 25ppm and you need to keep the price down.
