New Sharp Ar-C260 Models Feature Industry-Leading Color Copy Speeds And Functionality
Sharp’s latest workgroup printers turn out 26 high-quality pages per minute
MAHWAH, N.J., January 21, 2004 — Sharp’s new AR-C260 models deliver fast color copies at exceptional prices, making them excellent solutions for today’s multitasking and value-driven office workers. The new copiers not only produce high-quality color copies at 26 ppm (32 ppm in black-and-white), they print and scan as well. The AR-C260 P-Series printer can outperform most workgroup black and white printers as well as and handle color jobs since it’s a full-finishing 11 x 17 color printer. The AR-C260 M-Series Color IMAGER™ incorporates sophisticated features such as color network scanning and saddle-stitch, V-fold or three-position stapled sets.
“These units can save time and money for any office,” said Bill Barrick, Senior Product Manager, Sharp Document Solutions Company of America. “They can replace any workgroup black and white device while handling business color requirements quickly. This eliminates the need for personal desktop color printers/scanners, which take up office real estate and cost the company money.”
Both models utilize standard Sharp utilities such as; device monitoring, remote e-mail diagnostics, Sharpdesk™ software and secure personal identification number printing. Both units warm up quickly, produce full 11 x 17 images on 12 x 18 paper stock and have professional finishing accessories, so that users can perform sophisticated tasks in-house. The new copiers include Sharp’s advanced methods of maintaining document confidentiality. They are easy to use and have intuitive interactive functions to aid users with job status information; image editing; adding covers or envelopes or adjusting color. Remote e-mail diagnostics are also simple, and feature e-mail alerts and the ability to schedule service-related reports by e-mail.
