The Ricoh Aficio SP C222SF Series Desktop Color Laser Multifunction Printers (MFPs) are All-In-One devices featuring All-In-One technology. Along with their single function counterparts – the Ricoh Aficio SP C222DN Series Color Laser Printers, these low volume solutions are low-cost, network-ready systems designed to produce sharp color prints at efficient speeds. Extremely easy to operate and maintain, the Aficio SP C222SF Series and SP C222DN Series simplify laser technology ownership and maintenance. These products are truly affordable and allow small businesses and workgroups to take advantage of the same features that were previously only available to much larger organizations.
I pulled this from some web site so this is not me writing about the product!
Ricoh showed off a new printer this week from it’s new Aficio SP C222DN series. It’s a color laser printer and I while I’ve never used a Ricoh printer, I do use a Ricoh copier and it’s amazing and it gives a perfectly clear image everytime. I, personally, have never had any trouble with Ricoh products.

These printers are sleek and compact and made for small workgroups. They are both MAC and PC compatible and easy to set up and manage. The models (C220DN, C221DN, C222DN) in this series will cost $530, $630 and $760 respectively.
If you base it off the posted monthly duty cycles, it is 1/5th that of the LP226cn(Lanier)(SP400dn - Ricoh.) I believe the recommended volume for that printer is approx 6k per month. If you just divide then the new model C220 should be around 1,200 per month? I would think more like 2,000 pages. @ 1,200 pages/mo, in a normal working month, that is only about 50 pages per day.
Right! I just lobbied my company to add extended warranty for one year @ $99, 2 years @ $180 and three years @ $250. If you get a service call, just ship them a replacement at least for the C220N system. You can charge an additional $75 a year if they want on-site service.
