Built on the strong features of the Aficio MP 2510/MP 3010, the new Aficio MP 2550 and Aficio MP 3350 are available in both standard scan/print and scan/print/fax configurations and offer COLOR SCANNING plus many enhancements including a full-color VGA control panel, auto paper sensors and advanced security functionality.
In addition, we will offer a basic copier model, the MP 2550B/MP 3350B, which is an ideal solution for the budget conscious customer that only requires copying capabilities or wants to have the flexibility to upgrade to faxing, printing or monochrome scanning & printing. The MP 2550B/MP 3350B models do NOT offer an upgrade path to color scanning.
The strong features on the MP 2550B/MP 2550 & MP 3350B/MP 3350 models, coupled with competitive pricing, will allow us to maintain our #1 Market share for B/W Digital Imaging Systems while continuing to increase our B/W MIF for future B2C conversion.
