Phaser 3100MFP offers full office productivity at an affordable price
Sydney, AUSTRALIA – 2 September 2009 - Fuji Xerox today announced the availability of the Phaser 3100MFP, an affordable multifunction laser printer that is designed for small offices or small workgroups of up to five users who need a single device for their printing, scanning, faxing and copying needs. The Phaser 3100MFP/S and 3100MPF/X (with faxing capabilities) will keep a busy office environment running smoothly with its impressive speed of up to 20 monochrome printed pages per minute and a First Page Out Time speed as fast as 13 seconds. Users can scan documents in colour or monochrome directly to a PC or a USB memory key. The device comes with Nuance® Paperport® SE11.0 software which easily converts hard copy documents into electronic documents that can be edited.

Feature packed yet affordable
Users can print and scan directly from a USB memory key without having to access files from a PC. Businesses that need advanced copying features such as the photocopying of small sized two-sided documents or ID cards will be impressed by the convenience and productivity offered by the ID Card Copy feature. A Secure Fax Receive feature only prints faxes for users when a password is entered.
Ease of use
The Phaser 3100MFP is designed for fast and simple installation and set-up. It has a simple front panel which provides one-touch convenience for many walk-up features. A full keyboard on the panel makes it easy to program address books, send faxes and address locations to store files. An intuitive, bi-directional print driver provides helpful device-status updates.
Versatility to support any busy office environment
Besides reducing the number of machines needed to perform a variety of tasks, the Phaser 3100MFP has the versatility to support any busy office environment. A 50 sheet automatic document feeder makes scanning, copying and faxing multiple pages easier (Phaser 3100MFP/X). Its generous media capacity of up to 250 sheets reduces the number of interruptions needed for paper refilling. The Phaser 3100MFP has a bypass tray which supports the single-sheet feeding of special media like envelopes and heavy paper stock.
