I was just going through the brochure, have not finished yet, however the new screen has got a lot of SIZZLE. Should be awesome to demo. However can't figure out why they left searchable .pdf as an option!!!

Not a bad idea, Ricoh may credit us $10 or so for the part and we'd pay $12.00 to ship it back to them. The screen should have been a standard feature and the manufacturers need to stop playing games with MSRP so that the price of the system is in line with others. Adding $189 on the MSRP is not going to hurt any sales n fact it would add sizzle and save dealers and sales people money. Being an option, I would get charged and additional fee to take the old one off and install the new one.
This is a funny question, but did Ricoh stop including "SP" at the end of its MFPs with this series?
I don't see it in Ricoh's US nomenclature anymore..

Everything using the SDK is currently unsupported and official word is that everything will be greenlit within 4-6 months.
The stumbling block is the Android-based UI. It's a whole new world of OS complexity to bugtest. Having played with the new machines the UI is slick but it's not a fully custom build. It has a lot of Android 2.3 "Gingerbread" elements going on That's not a bad thing, just funny seeing that older theme and settings menu come back as a hyped "new and exciting" feature.
