New Kyocera Wide Format Imaging System, Delivers Low Cost and Ease of Use in 12 Square Feet of Floorspace
Fairfield, New Jersey, November 6, 2006 ? Kyocera Mita America, one of the world's leading document imaging companies, today announced it has expanded its portfolio of wide format devices by launching the KM-3650w. The KM-3650w is a low cost, low volume wide format multifunctional product (MFP) ideally suited for professionals in industries such as architecture, engineering, education, government and construction, plus many others.
"Wide format solutions have historically been very expensive, often making professionals in the architecture, engineering and construction industries dependent on reproduction shops to copy, print or scan oversize line drawings such as blueprints," said Victor Jacksier, product and solutions marketing manager, Kyocera Mita America, Inc. "The low cost and compact size of the KM-3650w enables professionals in these industries to handle the majority of their document processing needs in-house, saving them significant time, money and space."
Designed to give busy professionals a product to help them complete their wide format imaging tasks quickly and cost-effectively, the KM-3650w comes standard with an embedded print controller, offering an easy to use interface with a wide range of features. The KM-3650w is flexible and fast, offering optional network scanning for document archiving and distribution, as well as four D-size copies/prints per minute.
Output is crisp, at a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi, and the standard 512MB RAM and 80GB hard drive offer enough memory for even the most demanding work environments. The KM-3650w also has five enlargement pre-set ratios with the ability to zoom from twenty-five to four hundred percent in 0.1 percent increments, which delivers more versatility in the material production process.
The KM-3650w comes standard with Remote Web Manager, a secure web interface where customers can monitor, manage and configure the print server, print jobs and scanned images. In addition, the KM-3650w ships with a print controller interface client tool that allows customers to print jobs to the device without launching the application the document was created in.
Availability
The KM-3650w is available through authorized Kyocera Mita America dealers at an MSRP of $16,495.00. To find the nearest dealer, visit Kyocera Mita America's dealer locator at www.kyoceramita.com.
