Having worked in the industry for 26 years and having worked for a dealer for 14 of those years. I would have to agree with a friend who just quit the industry altogether because of a poor relation with management and or the owner when it came to comissions.

My point is it's hard enough to get the deal and then half of the time you are always watching your pocket too make sure you get the correct commissions that are owed. I'm sure there are many fair dealer principals in our industry and I also know there are many that would jerk some sales people around enough to make them quit or leave.
