I didn't want to post this on the forums.  Would rather post here to see if we can get some chatter going.

One of my net new accounts recently purchased the 2nd Ricoh Pro 8320 and both are killing it at 400K per month.  Had a call the other day about odors filling the print room and it only started after the 2nd device was installed.

This print room is 620 square feet in total.  Seems one device was acceptable however with the two devices there is an odor produced when both devices are running.

In addition the print room AC was not turned on nor was the heat..  The two AC returns were not located in the print room either.  Thus the odor from two devices running was creating some discomfort with the smell. I was on-site along with a tech.  We moved one device further from the wall and told the client to at least run the AC on "fan" mode to circulate the air.

I followed up today and the client stated it was a little better.  This client wants to add two more of these in the same room.  I mentioned that they will need some type air exhaust system with some type of filtering.  I offered up the filtering because I was not sure what the smell.  These devices can cost anywhere from $1K to $7K.

While I was there on Friday I noticed and air return that was in the print room (located in the ceiling), the DM told me it wasn't operational for some reason.

While I was surfing the web for other air exhaust system I came across some industrial fans.  I also found one that could hook to his air return in the ceiling that would draw out the air. I sent it off the to client and he sent back email that stated, "this is a great idea".  Now that kinda made my day
