Muratec introduces OfficeBridge Online digital connectivity application; rebrands components of document distribution suite Print Friendly
Muratec America, Inc., manufacturer of multifunction office equipment and business productivity solutions, announces today the introduction of OfficeBridge Online, the company’s digital connectivity application for the MFX-1300 & MFX-1700, copier-based MFPs.
PLANO, Texas (June 18, 2003) — OfficeBridge Online is the flagship offering of the OfficeBridge Suite of document distribution solutions. The application expands the award-winning capabilities of the MFX-1300 & MFX-1700 with scan to e-mail, network printing, desktop faxing, network scanning, Internet faxing, workflow management, bulletin board, and other productivity-enhancing functionality.
“We’re excited about making OfficeBridge Online available,” says Hideki Mori, Muratec America president and CEO. “The MFX-1300 and 1700 are outstanding machines and this application further enhances their capabilities. Now there’s a digital connectivity option for our entire lineup of MFPs. We’re confident it will be an outstanding success.
OfficeBridge Online is offered at $499 MSRP. The application offers intuitive, browser-based administration and functions as a hardware add-on to the MFP. As a result, it does not take up PC resources and is available for virtually an unlimited number of users.
“It’s worth the price of admission as an affordable network printing solution,” explains Jim D’Emidio, Muratec America vice president of sales and marketing. “But OfficeBridge Online is really much more than that. It’s a complete digital connectivity solution that expands the capabilities of our Segment 1 copiers with features that truly enhance productivity.”
In addition to introducing the new OfficeBridge Online, Muratec announces the rebranding of the other document distribution applications under the OfficeBridge Suite.
OfficeBridge Client, formerly known as the IS-100 option, is available with the MFX-2530, a Segment 2 copier-based MFP. OfficeBridge I-Fax, formerly known as the IF-300, is available with the award-winning F-320 and F-360 fax-based MFPs.
“Our users found the previous numbering system somewhat confusing,” explains D’Emidio. “This new naming structure is more effective and helps us better leverage the OfficeBridge name as our digital connectivity brand.”
