One of my accounts is complaining that the time it take the printer to process any print files is much longer than the MP C2551 we replaced.  The volume did not warranty replacing with the MP C2553, plus the customer needed to save a few bucks.

 

Is anyone else having an issue with this system?

Just some thoughts...Is it possible to connect the MFP to one of their computers with a crossover cable and see what the result is?  Can this also be done with your laptop to see what the result is and compare?

 

What is the speed of their LAN...it may be having trouble establishing the communication speed.  Maybe try changing the Ethernet speed on the MFP to 100MB Full Duplex instead of Auto.

 

Is it worth trying to add memory?
