Please note the following organizational changes, which are taking place beginning today and continuing throughout the month.

Barry Ward has announced his retirement from Ricoh as of February 1, 2008. After 28 years of dedicated service to the company, Barry has decided to dedicate the next phase of his life to his family and outside interests. We wish Barry well in whatever the future will bring. He has served the company unselfishly and loyally, and thank him for his leadership and many contributions throughout his career with the company. Taking his place as Senior Vice President, Ricoh Business Solutions, is Dave Greene, formerly Ricoh VP of Major Account Support and previous leader of direct sales operations for Lanier prior to the one company integration.

With respect the Major Account Support organization, the following changes take place immediately:

Tom Sullivan, Vice President Commercial and Vertical Major Accounts and his organization will report directly to Alan Nielsen in the Indirect Channel.
Major Account Sales Managers (MASM’s) will report into the Indirect Channel and will be responsible for all Major Account Business including Poly-Sub. This change, as well as the change in reporting for Tom Sullivan’s organization, is designed to improve dealer coverage for all Major Accounts.
Government Account Managers (GAM’s) will become State Contract Managers, supporting all brands, all channels, reporting to Steve Bissey, National Sales Director. They will move into the Business Development Organization. Steve Bissey will report to Vince Roma, VP, Major Account Business Development. The position of Vice President, Government Accounts has been eliminated.
The GSA Group will also move into the Business Development Organization reporting to Vince Roma, Vice President Major Account of Major Account Business Development.
The Federal Contract Managers (DAPS, FedSource, and USPS) will report into the Washington, DC Branch in order to facilitate a coordinated strategy for our Federal Government business.
The Healthcare Vertical account program led by Richard Hostetler will report to Dave Barwick, Director of Higher Education & Healthcare.
Vince Roma, VP Major Account Business Development will report to Martin Brodigan, EVP and CFO, Ricoh Americas Corporation.


Effective immediately, I am also pleased to announce the formation of the Office of the CFO, reporting directly to Martin Brodigan, EVP and CFO, RAC. The Office will be headed by Mac Ikeda, Vice President and Corporate Liaison. Reporting to Mac will be Russ Gough, Vice President and Business Unit Liaison, and Randy Wyatt, Vice President Leasing Strategies.

Steve Anderson Director, Real Estate and Pete Heinsohn, Director, Acquisitions will continue to report to Russ Gough.

Ted Mitchell, Manager Business, Financial Planning & Analysis will report to Ron Potesky Vice President, Product Marketing to provide financial analyses to Marketing.

The Office of the CFO will focus on supporting the business units in developing and executing their plans for both the FY08 Budget and the 16th MTP. It will act as the focal point for communication between our parent company and RAC. In addition, it will be responsible for our leasing and real estate strategy on a go forward basis. Additional staff will be recruited to this office over the coming weeks to support Mac, Russ and Randy.

Paul Stacey is appointed VP, Corporate Controller and will consolidate the Accounting and Finance functions within RAC. All of Russ Gough’s existing reports not referenced above will now report to Paul.

Jan Saperstein and the RCFC organization will report to Dan Piccoli Vice President, Customer Administration. This move is designed to improve our service to the dealer channel by bringing together the groups who support our dealers. Jan will also work closely with Alan Nielsen in developing programs to support our dealer channel.

The day-to-day operations of Ricoh Financial Services under Kurtis Vaughn will report to Dwight Martin in the Customer Administration group. This move is designed to bring together our groups delivering administrative services to our customers. Credit and Leasing strategies will continue to be the responsibility of Randy Wyatt Vice President, Leasing Strategies.
