RAMSEY, NJ-March 17, 2003- Having reached a formal agreement with Jamex, Inc., Minolta Corporation's Business Products Group announced it will directly market and sell several of Jamex Inc.'s cash and card vending systems. Vending systems are used by businesses that have self-service copiers in public environments such as libraries, office supply stores, print shops, colleges and universities, post offices, convenience stores and business centers.
"Minolta is focused on solving our customers document-based problems. For our customers that have purchased our printer/copiers for placement in public environments, one concern is being able to charge for copies," said Bud Murphy, executive vice president and general manager, Minolta's Business Products Group. "By partnering with Jamex, we can offer these customers an easy and convenient solution. Not only are Jamex vending systems easy for our customers to install and maintain but they are easy for walk-up patrons to use."
"We partnered with Jamex for this particular solution because they have a broad range of cash and card vending systems that meet the full spectrum of our customers' needs," says Murphy. "In addition, their systems support a dual pricing structure that accommodates our color printer/copiers that provide both full color and black and white copies."
Minolta is marketing the following Jamex vending systems:
§ Multi-copy, Cash Only Systems:
- Model 6557 - Bill & Coin
- Model 6552 - Coin only
