Microsoft adds features to Universal Print

The “secure release” features now works with QR codes scanned by smartphone or mobile devices that run Android OS or Apple iOS

Users will need to signed into their company provided Microsoft 365 Mobile App account
Also need to be authenticated to the Entra ID (fka Azure Active Directory)
Technicians need to have device generate and print its unique QR code, and then affix it to the outside of the printer of MFP that offers Universal Print
Microsoft 365 E3 and E5 Universal Print users have a print allocation of 100 print jobs per month
Customers can buy “add on” packs of 500 print jobs
