Substrate Manufacturer Increases Product Line for Dry Toner Printers
St. Louis, MO – Masterpiece Graphix–a leading manufacturer of digital printing substrates–has announced that Masterpiece products are tested and confirmed for use on Ricoh and Konica Minolta digital printing presses.
Masterpiece Graphix .010 Synthetic Paper and .010 Matte White PVC substrates are tested and confirmed for use on Konica Minolta Bizhub PRESS high-speed digital color production printers. These substrates are included in the Konica Minolta Substrate Throughput Assurance Guide.
In addition, Masterpiece Graphix .015 Matte/Matte White PVC, LuXe 12pt Soft Touch White, and .012 Synthetic Paper substrates are certified for use on the RICOH Pro™ C7100 Series and C9100 Series Cutsheet Production Printers. These substrates will be included in the next update of the RICOH Paper Library.
These substrates provide printers with an economical and durable alternative to paper and polyester. “Commercial printers with dry toner presses often assume that the only plastic they can run through their press is polyester, which is expensive and over-engineered for most applications. Masterpiece Graphix offers a wide range of cost-effective substrates that are designed to perform well at the high printing temperatures of dry toner equipment,” explained Charity Brueggemann, Supply Chain and Business Manager. “Not only do the materials run well, the lower cost helps printers win more jobs and repeat business.”
