At their meeting Wednesday, Nov. 25, Saline County Commissioners discussed a contract extension with GFI, the company that provides copy machines for courthouse offices.
"We are going to get new copy machines for all the offices," Southern District Commissioner Richard "Dick" Hassler said. "They're a lot faster."
There are 17 copy machine units in the courthouse, and they will all be replaced next week, Hassler said. Under the new contract, which will be signed Tuesday, Dec. 1, the county will lease the units from GFI for $3,520 per month, just $45 more than previously.
