I have a customer who is printing from Mac OS X 10.9.5 using Adobe Reader XI. I'm not sure if this is standard or if I'm missing something. It seems like the application is determining page size. For example, the customer is printing a 36 x 22 size PDF and wants it to print on 11 x 17. By default when I arrived it was printing on letter size. I made some changes and was able to get it to print on 11 x 17 (changing Page Setup in application to Tabloid). Then when I went to print a letter size PDF it wanted to print on 11 x 17. Seems it likes to do whatever you did last although I can't say 100% that it is consistent. I removed the IT installed print driver that I believe was using AirPrint and installed as IP printer.
Does anyone know if this is normal or if there is something I'm missing? Of course the customer thinks it may be related to new hardware (Savin MPC2003).
