I have a customer who wants to really control what can be changed on the MFP (Savin 2555SP). This seems like it should be easier than what I'm experiencing. I have been successful in locking down the address book. However, when it comes to Tray Paper Settings and other things that end users might change I'm scratching my head. Can anyone provide some detailed information on how to prohibit users from making changes?

What is the name of the new tool?
Just a heads up, when you set Administrator Authentication, it restricts users from making changes on the Smart Op Panel without logging in first.
I now turn on Administrator Authentication/Machine Management on every Smart Panel machine I touch after having had several instances where customers lost display icons or even reset the entire display back to factory defaults. Doing this makes it so the only way the display can be altered is by logging in first. This is now the final step of every install. I highly recommend everyone make this part of their routine.
Regarding the original post, everything he wants to lock down is found in Administrator Authentication Management / Machine Management and inside there you can tell the machine specifically what parts of the machine you want to lock down.
