LEPPERT BUSINESS SYSTEMS NAMED REGIONAL DISTRIBUTOR OF BIOPRINT NON-PETROLEUM BASED HP LASER TONER
Leppert Business Systems Inc., a Burlington Ontario based Office Document Strategies specialist firm is pleased to announce that they have recently been named the regional distributor for the new BioPrint line of environmentally sustainable compatible laser toners.
BioPrint toner is produced from plant based resins largely from soy or corn products and replaces the normal petroleum based resins in other laser toners. In announcing their appointment, Lee Kirkby, Vice President said. “We are excited by the ability to assist clients to reach their environmental sustainability goals while using products which they need every day. Without making any changes in their normal practices, substituting the BioPrint toner for their regular OEM petroleum based toner can save up to 3 litres of petroleum per cartridge. This has a large impact both for their environmental goals, but more significantly for the planet. Even better the products are very cost effective.”
BioPrint toner cartridges are just reaching the market in Canada and North America with the first full scale shipment from the manufacturing plant expected to arrive in the first week of August. Leppert is starting to take pre-delivery orders from interested companies. It is anticipated the first shipment will be sold out before it arrives as many companies wish to be the first to adopt this new technology.
One of the key benefits of the new products is they do not require any modifications or changes to the devices in which they are used. The environmental gains are obtained through the reduction in the petroleum use in the toner since the plant resins are derived from a sustainable and reproducible crop.
