Kyocera to close plants in China?
Kyocera (aka Kyoto Ceramic Company of Japan), had its president, Hideo Tanimoto interviewed by the Financial Times newspaper
Kyocera makes 70% of the ceramic components for chip manufacturers worldwide
- “It works as long as products are manufactured in China and sold in China, but he business model of producing in China and exporting overseas is no longer visible”
