kyocera taskalfa 3050ci - What can you tell me about it?

Can anyone help Vince out, we have quite a few kyocera members.

I have sold a few of these units. Whats hard to beat is the color cpc and standard features. Image quality is good, however you may have to change a few settings in the print driver to beat the quality of the Ricoh color products. Reliabilty should be good, however this is a new series so were still waiting.

I have Lanier and Kyocera in my showroom. The Lanier has far better image quality and is also more user friendly. Just my humble opinion.

Although it is more of a Service Provider problem than a Customer problem, the new Kyocera models have gone to a design philosophy of factory sealed Major Module replacement. When something goes wrong, you have to replace the entire module. A dealer tech cannot open up the module and replace individual parts. This can significantly increase a dealer's Break Even cpc.
