FAIRFIELD, N.J. – December 13, 2016 – KYOCERA Document Solutions America, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, today announced the introduction of two new series of Multifunctional Products (MFPs), the TASKalfa 8052ci color Series and the TASKalfa 8002i black-and-white Series.
These high-speed color and monochrome MFPs offer advanced features to help larger workgroups accomplish more in less time increasing overall efficiency. For companies with both high-volume and superior image-quality needs, all models feature true 1200x1200 dpi at full speed.
The TASKalfa 8052ci Series is a workhorse in both color (up to 70 ppm) and black-and-white (up to 80 ppm), with optional 4,000-sheet external finisher, 7-bin mailbox, booklet/tri-fold and 3-hole punch capabilities. The TASKalfa 8002i Series provides up to 80 ppm for workgroups that require monochrome printing only with the same advanced finishing options.

All models provide standard wireless, WiFi-Direct and NFC support for Android mobile devices. They are HyPAS-enabled, ready to run Apple AirPrint®, Google Cloud Print™, Kyocera Mobile Print, and 60+ other business applications offered by Kyocera.
The 9-inch, 90-degree-tilt touch-screen, intuitive tablet-like interface make for a straightforward user experience. Each model can scan up to 220 images per minute, via the standard 270-sheet Dual Scan Document Processor. And standard OCR turns scanned documents into searchable PDFs, enabling users to easily and quickly locate and replicate information.
The TASKalfa 8052ci and TASKalfa 8002i series are KYOCERA Fleet Services-ready. KYOCERA Fleet Services (KFS) is a comprehensive cloud-based monitoring service that allows authorized dealers to remotely handle many maintenance tasks for their customers without time-consuming on-site visits. Through KFS, dealers can anticipate issues and resolve them before they occur, and even update firmware during off-hours, maximizing uptime across the entire fleet.

The TASKalfa 8002i Series is available through authorized Kyocera dealers at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $29,090 for the TASKalfa 8002i and $22,900 for the TASKalfa 7002i.
