Kyocera Mita Continues Dedication to Enterprise Document Management with DocuLex Collaboration
Kyocera Mita and DocuLex, Inc. offer dealers and end-users easy and safe
transfer of must-keep paper documents into electronic files for expanded
use and reduced storage
Fairfield, New Jersey and Winter Haven, Florida, January 30, 2003 -
Kyocera Mita, one of the world's leading document imaging companies, and
DocuLex, Inc., a manufacturer of productive image capture and indexing
software, today announced that they have entered into a strategic marketing
agreement that allows Kyocera Mita dealers across the United States to
offer DocuLex's PDF.Capture and Search software to customers in the legal,
financial, healthcare and education industries.
The Kyocera Mita - DocuLex PDF.Capture system provides an all-in-one
document management center, with extensive capabilities including copying,
printing, high-speed document scanning, content indexing and fully
searchable PDF electronic file conversion. DocuLex's PDF.Capture converts
hard-copy documents and creates fully searchable, electronic files for easy
storage, simpler retrieval, more accessible office use and delivery to
clients. DocuLex Search provides a 'back-end' for PDF.Capture, enabling
search, retrieval, viewing and printing of electronic documents.
"The DocuLex PDF.Capture software is a great companion to our document
imaging systems and provides many document-overloaded industries the
flexibility and ability to condense older hard-copy files and convert them
to electronic files," said Michael Pietrunti, vice president, marketing for
Kyocera Mita. "This collaboration not only provides a cost savings for
organizations that are using valuable office space for storage, it also
provides the end-user with easy setup and formatting of critical documents
for their firm or office."
"Kyocera Mita provides the perfect partner for DocuLex, said David Bailey,
vice president of sales and technical development of DocuLex. "The brand's
multi-functional products (MFPs) provide flawless integration with
DocuLex's PDF.Capture & Search software, and Kyocera Mita's capability/cost
ratio is superior in the industry. Branches and resellers enjoy increased
sales opportunities with our combined brand's complete document imaging and
management solution, and increased revenue when offering the
hardware/software components in tandem."
Kyocera Mita and DocuLex are organizing user seminars in major markets
across the country to demonstrate the end-user benefit from converting
hard-copy documents to electronic files. Scheduled for Spring 2003,
seminars will take place in New York, NY, Los Angeles, CA, Chicago, IL,
