Osaka, Japan - October 26, 2015 - KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc.(President: Takashi Kuki, herein "KYOCERA") announced today that its regional headquarters for the European, Middle Eastern and African regions, KYOCERA Document Solutions Europe B.V.(President: Takahiro Sato), has acquired a local distributor of KYOCERA products in Turkey, Bilgitas BÜro Makinalari Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S.(Chairman: Habib Pisan; headquarters: Istanbul, Republic of Turkey; herein "Bilgitas"), and has incorporated it into a sales company.
For over thirty years KYOCERA has been building a solid relationship with Bilgitas while developing its document equipment business in the Turkish market.In that time, KYOCERA has won orders for a large-scale project of the Turkish government, and also attained the No.1 share* in the A3 MFP market in Turkey thanks to Bilgitas' nationwide sales channels and high-quality services which have been cultivated over the years.
By acquiring Bilgitas, KYOCERA will actively promote its document solutions business providing operational improvements, which has been growing in Europe and the U.S., with Bilgitas' sales network focusing on the Turkish government and other major companies. By doing so, KYOCERA also aims to capture the leading market share in the field of document and contents management in Turkey.
