Konica Minolta Targets Small and Mid-Sized Offices with Cost Efficient bizhubs

Efficient and energy saving multi-function products with a special focus on mobile printing

Ramsey, NJ – August 5, 2015 – Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leader in information management focused on enterprise content, technology optimization and cloud services, announced today the launch of four new multi-function products (MFPs) intended for small and mid-sized offices and departmental use. These new products, which include the bizhub 287, bizhub 227, bizhub C368, and bizhub C308, can easily adapt to tackle diverse work styles, including standard web browser and Open API support to connect to specialized applications and easy access to mobile connectivity.

 

The featured mobile connectivity supports a wide range of devices, including smartphones and tablets that are NFC (Near Field Communication) capable. Konica Minolta’s award-winning INFO-Palette control panel design rounds out the package for a unified user experience across our office product line.

 

bizhub 287 & bizhub 227

 

Both of these monochrome MFPs are exceptionally cost efficient, bridging the gap between Compact (A4) MFPs and traditional mid-volume office MFPs. The bizhub 287, a 28 ppm machine, and the bizhub 227, which runs at 22 ppm, have many eco-friendly attributes that differentiate them from other products. These features include:

  • Low energy consumption
  • Use of recycled materials in the manufacturing of the machine
  • Energy Star and EPEAT certifications

bizhub C368 & bizhub C308 The robust feature set and outstanding color output quality of these new color MFPs are only the beginning of the story. The new bizhub C368, a 36 ppm machine, and the bizhub C308, a 30 ppm machine, offer innovative solutions to address a wide range of customer needs.  Newly added functions include a mobile connectivity area built into the control panel, detachable universal trays and a hard disk mirroring option. The C368 and C308 also feature:

  • Standard web browser
  • Open API
  • 9” control panel featuring a mobile touch area with support for NFC (Near Field Communication)
  • Optional Fiery controller
