(Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today announces the availability of a free Device Relationship Management (DRM) Mobile application, bizhub vCare Mobile, that enables access to connected Konica Minolta's award-winning line of bizhub® multifunctional products (MFPs – print, copy, fax and scan all in one system) from mobile devices for enhanced fleet management and optimized product service and support.
The bizhub vCare® Mobile application was developed by Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH and modified for use by Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc.
The bizhub vCare Mobile application is free to all registered Konica Minolta Business Partners using the bizhub vCare DRM solution, which provides a real-time, comprehensive diagnostic view of any bizhub vCare-enabled product. With bizhub vCare Mobile, dealer service technicians, dispatchers and other product support teams gain 24x7 access to bizhub vCare-connected products allowing them to provide enhanced customer and product support. In addition, the new application provides technicians with auto-service call dispatching and MFP-triggered supply replenishment directly from a mobile device.

The bizhub vCare Mobile application features:
Basic MFP Information: Registered Date, Customer Name, Latest Meter Counts, and Environmental Information (temperature and humidity).
Counters: Total MFP Counter, Paper Size Counter, Warning Counter, Trouble Counter, PM Counter, and Consumable “Gas Gauge.”
PM Parts Usage Part Description, Total Part Count and percent of Usage
Machine History Warning, Trouble, Jam, and Maintenance History
ROM Version Firmware version for every installed component
Reporting Print Volume, Toner Usage, and Machine Uptime
The bizhub vCare Mobile application seamlessly integrates with the recently released SSD Mobile Access application providing field technicians with easy access to Konica Minolta’s robust product and service support resources while at a customer’s site or when planning for the next service call. Both mobile applications are compatible with the latest mobile devices including Android®, Blackberry®, iPad®, iPhone®, Motorola® Symbol® MC70 handheld computer, Windows™ Mobile™ and Windows-based PC’s or laptops.
