Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc. (Konica Minolta) has announced a partnership with Lantronix Inc. to add the xPrintServer Cloud Print Edition to Konica Minolta's EnvisionIT portfolio. The new solution enables mobile workers to wirelessly print from Android and Google Cloud Print-ready devices to any Konica Minolta bizhub MFP for increased business productivity.

The Lantronix xPrintServer Cloud Print Edition is a "plug-and-print" solution enabling users to print without installing special software or applications directly to a networked bizhub MFP or printer from Chromebooks and Android smartphones, tablets and Kindle Fire devices. Ideal for any office, school or hospital, the xPrintServer solution features automatic discovery and printer setup. It also incorporates Konica Minolta's print drivers, or PDD, for sophisticated function support including user authentication and Secure Print capabilities. The Cloud Print Edition, with the embedded Konica Minolta print driver, has been certified by Google to support cloud print technology.
The new xPrintServer solution complements Konica Minolta's mobile offering, allowing customers to view, scan and print documents securely from their mobile devices. Konica Minolta offers a range of mobile solutions, including PageScope Mobile to help users efficiently access and manage documents across mobile devices, and support for AirPrint, Google Cloud Print and The Mopria Alliance.
