Konica Bizhub C364e 0.1% Reduce/Enlarge

Is this a print shop?  One tenth of 1% was big years ago, however have had no one asking that for years.  Minolta was the first company to offer zoo, reduction and enlargement to one tenth of 1%

No it's an engineering firm; first time in 10 years for me hearing this..they said their stuff needs to be to scale. I am thinking with new machines and it being 2016 I have to have an alternative to help them. Just feel like a rookie right now

interesting, I have many engineering accounts and have not ran across that excuse to keep the incumbent.  With some many documents being printed from CAD, why are they copying documents?  That would be one of my first questions.

Have you seen their workflow for copying?  Are they really reducing or enlarging to one tenth of 1%?

That's the next step it was a cold call yesterday and I was so thrown off it that I said I would do some research first; spent a good hour last night and noticed Konica and Kyocera only offer it; so thought I'd come here first before I reach back out to them; just strange and I feel they were "told" that so I need to figure out exactly what they are doing

I agree with you, I would bet dollars to doughnuts that they don't even use the reduction & enlargement. It may be a "just in case" feature,  or they misunderstand the one tenth of percent and they think it is being used for printing, meaning they think that all of the prints are auto scaled when they print.  Get to the bottom of it and I'm sure you'll find out that they don't use it or misunderstand it.  Let us know!
