Does anyone know anything about the Konica 2820? I can not find info on it. I have not seen the model number myself, but the customer asures me that it is the correct model number.
My guess is the customer, as is the case in more instances than not, is slightly off the mark. There are two model numbers that resemble that number: 7820 and 7020. The 7820 is a color printer, the 7020 is a copier. Good luck!
There is also an 8020 and 8031 color copier/printer model. I have seen both and the quality is very impressive. They are both 31ppm b&w and 20ppm and 31ppm in color, respectively.
The 8031 does have the IP711 Print controller option along with the Fiery X3e option. Prints up to 140lb index, 12x18 full bleed, scan-to-e:mail, Tiff, Jpeg and Pdf scanning. The most impressive items is the quality and the booklet making finisher w/saddle stitch(2-3 hole punch also!) My dealership doesn't have any CL7000CMF's in stock yet, so I can't really compare. Personally, the 8031 has much better quality than the 3800CMF, but hasn't been around long enough to test reliability! Hope this helps...
Art - the IP711 Print controller shares the optional 10GB hard drive with the copier. The Fiery controller comes standard with its own 10GB hard drive. Thanks
