Press release from the issuing company
Rolling Meadows, IL, - Komori America reports yet another successful tradeshow experience at Graph Expo 2012. Following on the success the company experienced at drupa 2012, Komori's Graph Expo theme, "Join the Efficiency Revolution," highlighted the company's focus on improving overall efficiency to improve job cycle times and profitability. Komori's booth at Graph Expo was specifically designed to showcase the many ways Komori can help printers achieve these goals. Komori made a number of direct sales at the show including the sale of eight offset presses, five of which will be equipped with Komori's award winning H-UV curing system. In addition to the eight press sales, an additional H-UV system was sold.
The center of the Komori booth was a virtual demonstration of the new Impremia IS29, Komori's 29 inch, sheetfed inkjet digital press, co-developed with Konica Minolta and introduced at drupa 2012. Additionally, the company demonstrated the Konica Minolta bizhub C8000 showing the ability to produce exact color matching between the Komori offset press and the digital device through G7 certification.
"We couldn't be more pleased with the results of Graph Expo 2012," said Kosh Miyao, president and COO of Komori America Corporation. "Customers are seeing the benefits of our company's focus on delivering technology that has a direct impact on their print quality and pressroom efficiency. We found the interest in our new digital devices particularly exciting. The IS29 brings a level of technology to the industry that isn't available anywhere else."
The KomoriKare service team was also on hand to discuss ways to improve efficiency through press upgrades and maintenance programs. The team took this opportunity to present to customers visiting the booth effective ways to maximize their current equipment.
Komori America kicked off the Graph Expo 2012 with an open house at its Rolling Meadows facility on Saturday, October 6, to celebrate the company's 30th anniversary. Over 150 guests attended the event that featured press demonstrations on the Lithrone G40 and Lithrone G40 perfector, H-UV and the PQA-S inspection system. Other highlights of the day included a presentation by Benny Landa, CEO of Landa Corporation, on his new Landa Nanographic Printing Technology introduced at drupa 2012.
