Kodak will highlight its latest solutions for printing, packaging, and publishing professionals at the All In Print China 2011 exhibition in Shanghai. With an expected attendance of over 100,000 visitors, All In Print is China's largest printing fair. It takes place Nov. 14-17 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.
As China's printing industry moves toward sustainability and increased automation, the All In Print exhibition will focus on innovation, upgrades, integration and development in advanced printing technologies. With the theme, "It's Time for You AND Kodak-Green, Innovative, Digital and Fast," the Kodak booth A215 (Hall E1) will feature a variety of products and services that help businesses achieve efficiency and business growth.
"We are thrilled to be a part of this international event. We look forward to talking with customers about how we can help them improve efficiency, increase automation, and meet the needs of their unique operation," said John Li, Managing Director of Greater China Cluster, Eastman Kodak Company.
The KODAK PROSPER 1000 Press, which uses revolutionary KODAK Stream Inkjet Technology, will be on display at the Kodak booth. This monochrome, inkjet web press solution features an automated Image Quality Management System and delivers print quality comparable to that of offset printing. With line screens approaching 175 lpi and productivity averaging monthly page volumes of 90 million, and speeds of 200 mpm (650 fpm), the PROSPER 1000 Press is ideal for printing books, direct mail, and other digital printing applications.
Printers using the KODAK PROSPER 1000 Press can also enjoy a low total cost of operation due to its compact yet robust design and extended module life. The KODAK PROSPER Press even has the ability to be field upgradable. The accompanying MBO PALAMIDES alpha 700 solution and HUNKELER roll to cutter solution will also debut at the booth. This will be the first showing of the PALAMIDES alpha 700 anywhere in Asia. To demonstrate complete book manufacturing production, Kodak will be printing and binding books on the show floor using JMD's newest, Robot Bindery.
In addition, at the Kodak booth visitors will see package printing solutions including the KODAK FLEXCEL NX Digital Flexographic System, an award-winning digital plate system. With high line screens (175 lpi) and high print densities, the outstanding image quality delivered from the KODAK FLEXCEL NX System is both reliable and consistent. Flexible package printers are switching over existing print jobs to the FLEXCEL NX Plates for a number of cost and efficiency benefits, including reduced makeready times and extended plate life.
KODAK Unified Workflow Solutions will be featuring new versions of KODAK PRINERGY System, KODAK COLORFLOW Software, KODAK PREPS Imposition Software and the new KODAK INSITE Prepress Portal System application for iPad tablets. These products will highlight production optimization, increased automation, operational efficiencies and mobile capabilities, while enhancing business offerings to their clients.
